Big Box is narrative non-fiction. I’ve submitted to friends and an agent for critique and making this available to those I’ve directed to this page or those on my blog who are interested in giving feedback during the writing process.
I followed the lives of four people in a trailer park in Nashville. Walmart was coming and their 25-year-old community was going. I spent four years following this community and the incredible stories that emerged. Italics show conversation I did not directly hear. Keep in mind, this is a draft, and reader cues and more dialogue and development will come, but any input you give will help shape additional re-writing. Thank you.

Tried to open Big box and wouldn’t let me. Do you know why?
